My Gin Bottle's Now (Almost) Totally Plastic Free

My Gin Bottle's Now (Almost) Totally Plastic Free
Times change – apparently.

My humans have been looking all sad recently because our current 50cl bottle is no longer is production. That means it’s time to move onto something new and they’ve asked me to introduce its replacement...
Times change – apparently. Like the time I tried taking my Mum’s marrow bone having finished mine, I received a rather nasty bite on the nose and a real doggy telling off – so I guess the ‘lovely puppy please feed me’ era has come to an end!!

Now speaking of things coming to an end, my humans have been looking all sad recently because our current 50cl bottle is no longer is production. Some 350 old bottles have been sold but it’s time to move onto something new and they’ve asked me to introduce its replacement...

Ta Dah!

Now the first thing you will notice is that I am still on the bottle – phew and all the wonderful artwork that was found on the old bottle can also be found on the Vitro Elite (I thought this was quite cool for a bottle name – ‘hey I’m just pouring gin from my Italian Vitro Elite’ – well it gets my vote anyway).

You’ll notice that the bottle has lost the ‘big bottom’ that the old one had, I know many people liked the style but the bottle was quite old and rather heavy but the new one is much lighter, easier to produce and will be less strain on our Posties shoulder. Our wonderful friend, Chris, who does our etching has worked really hard to remap the artwork and I think it looks really good.

The other good news is that the new bottles have been numbered from 001 – so if you have a special number that you would like to reserve please let my Humans know by emailing tabsandphil@pentlandhillsgin.scot.

The debut for our new bottles will be this weekend at the World Gin Day celebrations on Arran as part of the Gin School Scotland Promotion, don't miss it - my Humans need supervising from time to time.

Happy ‘Gining’
